Campground Website

Overall Rating = 3.7/5

Site Quality = 3/5 (Partial Hook Ups)

(Partial Hookup Sites) Pretty level paved spaces. Back in sites. Close to neighbors – basically a long parking lot. Fire pits and picnic tables. No trees. Space fit our 30’ trailer and pickup parked sideways. No real views to speak of but they had nice sunset colors.

(Full Hookup Sites) Fairly level gravel spaces. Back in sites. Some space between neighbors. Fire pits and picnic tables. Trees per space.

Facilities/Amenities = 5/5

Showers and bathrooms on site. Clean. Laundry on site. Medium size store. Pool, kids play area. Pretty good wifi. Cell service.

Location = 4/5

Right near downtown Mammoth 5-10 minutes to restaurants and stores. Short drive to great hikes. A bike path goes right in front of the campsite and runs through the town and into the mountains. Right off the highway but pretty quiet location at night.

Ease of booking/Availability 3/5

Booked via phone. We usually had to leave a voicemail. You can also book online –  Usually fills up on weekends and some weekdays. Would recommend booking ahead for weekends.

Price/Value 3/5

$54.50/night+tax. For partial hook ups, nice facilities, parking lot with no shade. But good location.

Ease of booking/Availability 3/5

Book online or via phone. They usually don’t pick up right away so you need to leave a message. Requires a deposit and has a stiff cancellation policy. Fills up on weekends.

Hook Ups 4/5 (Partial Hook Ups)

Full and partial hook ups for different prices. Electric and water. Dump stations available. It was an extra $8 for sewer on site.
